SmartCap Display: TIME/DATE AND TIMEZONE

When a SmartCap System is connected to a Fatigue Manager Server, it gets the time and date from the server. In this scenario the user will NOT have the option to change time or date on the display.

The only thing available to change on in the TIME/DATE MENU is the timezone.

When connected to Fatigue Manager (COMMS OK) the display will show the server time and date when pressing either TIME or DATE from the TIME/DATE MENU.

To view the SERVER TIME and DATE:

  • Go to MENU > ADVANCED > Enter [PIN] > CONFIG > TIME/DATE > TIME, OR
  • Go to MENU > ADVANCED > Enter [PIN] > CONFIG > TIME/DATE > DATE

When the SmartCap Display is used offline, e.g. in a SmartCap Portable System, the time, date and timezone can be changed from the TIME/DATE MENU.

TIMEZONE

  1. Go to MENU > ADVANCED > Enter [PIN] > CONFIG > TIME/DATE > TIMEZONE,
  2. Use the arrows on the bottom of the screen to change the value. This will change the value in half hour steps between [-11 .. +14].
  3. Once the desired timezone has been selected, press SET to confirm and save the new name
  4. Leave the menu by pressing BACK > BACK > BACK

NOTE: When DST is ticked, the timezone automatically jumps 1 hour forward, indicating DST is applied.
