The key things to consider when installing the Life system in a vehicle are the mounting locations. Consider the mounting location to ensure the operator can easily observe and operate the LifeDisplay and that the antennas (3G, Bluetooth, GPS, ITAS) will receive good signal. The best location for the display is usually on the dash of the vehicle.
The screen should be in view without the need for the driver/operator to look down/up/sideways excessively.
Once the mounting locations for all of the devices has been selected, the next step is to install the cables. It is important to do this early on as it verifies the selected mounting locations are feasible given that some of the cable lengths are fixed.
